Dr. Jacqueline Benoot Chiropractor

In Response to Covid.  We are now open and accepting appointments.

In the wake of the ever-evolving current events, we are mindful of the precautions that need to be taken to safely treat our patients over the upcoming weeks and months, and to minimize the spread of the coronavirus Covid-19.  We want to re-assure you we are stepping up our sanitization practises of the clinic, and scheduling patients to minimize people in the reception room.

We are asking all our patients to do their part as well to minimize the spread of the disease by staying home if you are sick with any cold/flu symptoms, respiratory symptoms such as fever, new cough, new shortness of breath, myalgia or sore throat, etc. (For more information, please see resources listed below.)

***If you have a scheduled appointment that you need to reschedule when you are healthier, please contact us through email or the phone numbers listed below.***

To best accommodate social distancing and to limit the amount of people in the office at a time, we are asking patients to arrive on time to your scheduled appointment (versus too early or late).

Please bring a face mask / covering for in your treatment session, and in case there is a wait in the reception room. (We have some for purchase if needed).  No need for gloves, we have hand sanitizer and hand soap available for use.

Keeping your immune system strong.

The best way is prevention.  Wash your hands often for 20 seconds with soap and use hand sanitizer when out in public - avoid touching your face, eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands - cough/sneeze in your elbow -  avoid being in large crowds - clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces in the home and at the workplace frequently.  Quarantine for 14 days if you have traveled outside of Canada - Self-Isolate for 14 days if you have ANY symptoms of COVID-19

We would also recommend making sure everyone gets their proper 6-8 hours of sleep, eating nutrient dense foods, and do mild exercise to keep your immune systems strong. These are good practices for everyone, for every season. Whether or not you or your loved ones are personally at risk, we have to protect those around us who are.

We know it can be confusing finding accurate information.  We have listed below links to further information you may need.
